Proposals are being solicited for moving services in our scattered site communities. Contractor shall quote based on labor only. The housing authority will provide the boxes and packing materials to
residents per the successful bidder's recommendation of quantities based on moving standards per bedroom sizes. The quote shall include a move from the tenant's apartment to other destinations
such as apartments, pods or storage units within the City of Burlington. The moves will be a mix of one move and/or two moves. Additionally, provide quote on a "packing and unpacking per
household" basis for those unable to due to medical/physical reasons (Reasonable Accommodation (RA)). The contractor must be able to complete multiple moves at one time and handle an aggressive moving schedule. At the time of the actual move, there may be more vacancies reducing the number of apartments requiring relocation as referenced above. Also note, residents will be offered the option to self-pack and move on their own resulting in even less apartments for the Contractor to relocate.

A walk through of the sites will be held on May 31, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.  Please meet at the BHA Administrative Office located at 133 N. Ireland Street to start the tour.

The Housing Authority will provide opportunity for a Site visit to see one of each occupied bedroom size per request on a date to be determine by number of requests received.
