Dedicated in Service to our Fellowman

Established in 1967, the Burlington Housing Authority (BHA) provides safe, affordable housing for families, seniors and disabled individuals in Burlington, North Carolina. Utilizing federally-funded housing programs, in conjunction with non-profit social programs, BHA offers support services and life skills training to prepare residents to transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing.

BHA manages the programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), including Public Housing and Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) to assist low and moderate-income families and individuals.

The goal of BHA is for residents to become academically successful, independently empowered and economically self-sufficient.
