July 2026 Pre-Kinders Monthly Report

Pre-Kinders Update:

• Summer Camp: 8 students enrolled
  
  
• Fall registration is now underway. We have received six new applications, and eight current students have confirmed their return for the upcoming year. We will continue processing incoming registrations and provide updates as enrollment progresses.
  
  
• Vouchers: Three families have reported that they have submitted applications for childcare subsidy vouchers and put our facility as their preferred childcare provider. Our facility will continue to monitor the status of these applications and coordinate with Alamance County DSS as families receive eligibility determinations and voucher approvals.

Theme: ABC's of summer

• Crafts: lemonade craft, ocean craft, underwater craft, vacation craft
• Literacy: spelling & writing names & numbers; theme words writing, theme letter counting
• Math: recognizing 30-69, number writing, one to one correspondence counting
• Science: fireworks, jellyfish, Lake, nature, ocean, tropical weather, underwater, watermelon, Xerothermic, yellow, zoo
• Social emotional: continue water safety, taking care of nature, family trips; various topics from books and library visits
