Eviction 101: Policies and Prevention

Join United Way of Alamance County and Legal Aid for an important event focused on eviction education and prevention!

Legal Aid Attorneys Erin Miller and Michael Leyendecker will share information to help our community better understand eviction and how to prevent it.

This event is free and open to the public and is ideal for anyone interested in learning more about eviction and eviction prevention. Even if you are unable to attend, please consider sharing this opportunity with friends, family, and/or colleagues.

Lunch will be served, and selections can be made at the time of registration.

  • 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Lunch (provided)
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Eviction Prevention

Parking Information:

  • Street Parking Only: please plan to park on either Chandler Court or Chandler Avenue.
    • Staff will be on hand to assist participants with where to park.
    • Carpooling is recommended.
  • Handicap Parking: there are limited handicapped spaces in front of the building.
